Welcome to Year 1: Lion!
A Message from Mrs Moitt
Hello lovely Lion Class.
I hope you are all very well. I wanted to say hi and let you know that I miss you all and I am thinking about you. I hope that you have been keeping busy with the homework packs that you took home and that you have also been reading your books, as well as practising to read and write all of your sight words.
I know it is hard to be at home all day but there are lots of fun things that you can do. You can play games with your family, learn to cook, make up and act out stories and also help with jobs in the house, like the washing, tidying and cleaning.
There are lots of things that you can do online too. You can watch live animals at Edinburgh zoo. Who can remember which country Edinburgh is the capital city of? You can read books on the CBeebies storytime app and I know how you love watching Jack Hartmann videos on his Youtube channel. You could watch some and learn some new counting songs - counting in 5's, 10's and even counting up to 100!
Take care, stay safe and I look forward to hearing about all of the lovely things that you have been doing with your family.
From Mrs Moitt
