Family Support Worker
Hello, my name is Caroline Parker, and I’m so happy to the Family Support Worker at Green Lane Infant School.
My role is all about working alongside you to make sure your child feels safe, happy, and ready to learn — both in school and at home.
I’m here to listen without judgement and to help with whatever challenges you might be facing, big or small. This could mean:
- Supporting your child’s emotional wellbeing and confidence.
- Helping with friendships, behaviour, or worries about school.
- Working together to improve attendance and punctuality.
- Offering parenting tips and strategies for home routines.
- Connecting you with services for housing, benefits, or financial advice.
- Being a friendly point of contact during family changes, such as separation, bereavement, or moving home.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to go through it alone. I am at Green Lane on Wednesdays.
You can arrange an appointment to see by contacting the office, by phone, email or in person. Please be reassured that all conversations are carried out in a private room and are confidential.
Whether you need a quick chat, practical advice, or just someone to listen.
Together, we can make sure your child has the best chance to thrive.
